First Everest winner from Bangladesh Musa Ibrahim was trapped in extreme bad weather at the advanced base camp till May 20, 2010, going through the agony of to be or not to be. But May 21st arrived with a fresh dawn, encouraging Musa towards the ultimate leg of his endeavor. His oxygen pipe got damaged while crossing over a risky rock wall. A sherpa saved his life. Musa encountered the dead bodies of unfortunate climbers along the way, with the sherpas advising him not to think of the traumatic scenes during the dangerous journey. In despair but eager to reach the Everest summit, Musa kept asking them when they would reach the peak. The sherpas wanted to surprise him so they kept dillydallying till the moment he set foot on top of Mount Everest. Musa could not believe his eyes when his dream finally came true on May 23, 2010.
